Santa Monica auto repair

I definitely recommend them if you need a mechanic. A friend referred me to them. My repair was easy in Saturday and out Monday but I did have to leave my car as I didn't get my towed car to the shop early enough. They say maybe they could get it done in the day but it ended up Monday.I did pick them for the slim chance they could do it same day. I rolled the dice and lost $50 since another shop down the road quoted $400 out the door for my repair. I do want to support local and I should have asked if they could match. My poor negotiating. The shop is located in the rear of the lot. The sign is very visible. I appreciate the shop manager telling me that the manufacturer of part used was same as the dealer without the sticker price. I would use them again. I will update this if I do.

Mirroring everyone else's comments, these guys are very straightforward and honest. Brought my car in for a mileage-triggered maintenance and wheel alignment since I had just purchased some new tires. When it came down to the alignment, it turns out only a minor adjustment had to be made so they didn't charge for it. I wouldn't have been the wiser had they charged me for it... But they didn't.Will define be back in 5,000 miles for my next appointment!

These guys are always fair, provide estimates they actually stick to, and are just all around nice guys. It's nice to have found a shop where they don't try to tag on a bunch of things you don't need.
