I came to Car Nerds because of the consumer ratings. I figured nobody has that many friends to boost their yelp scores unless they were doing something right. Being a Prius newbee I felt that I needed to take it to a shop that handled a lot of Prius'. The issue I came for was to get my Prius keys programming and they took care of me quickly and courteously. I also remembered that i had a ventilation issue which they got to in a matter of minutes. The pricing was very reasonable. I am pleased to have found such a pleasant, honest, professional and accomidating shop. Now that I have my good honest mechanic(s), I can relax and enjoy being a Prius owner.

So happy I found these guys. I took my car into the Toyota dealership for an oil change and they came back with over $1,000 of repair needs. I got suspicious when they told me I needed new wiper blades because I had just replaced mine on my own so I knew they were BS'ing me. I looked on Yelp, found Car Nerds and gave them a call. Turns out the owner used to be the manager at Toyota Service and left to start a respectable operation. Not only did they give me the straight story on everything, but they were professional, offered me a ride back to my house, did a great job on my car, used Toyota parts (for half the price) and all in all, gave me KILLER SERVICE. Both Rony in the front office and Juan, the service manager, took the time to help me understand every detail about my repairs. LOVE these guys. Feel so relieved to have them as a resource so I can stop being snowed by the Toyota dealer.
