Rony and Martin are great in the front office and they are able to get out your cars with completed service when they tell you the car is supposed to be ready. If you don't have a Toyota under warranty it is the best place to go on the Westside for your service and needs. Have been great on both of our older cars in making basic repairs and keeping us informed of what is needed to keep the cars running well. If they don't have the parts, they can find them the same day or the next day at the latest and let you know when they are coming in and what they cost. Have stayed right on with estimates to final costs and have made it much easier in trying to find a service dealer

Wow... Marlin and Martin are AWESOME. I took them my 01' Toyota Tacoma to get a tune up, brakes, change some fluids and get some front end work. They did a fantastic job and the price was much lower than I expected. The tech that did the work was super cool and is actually a Santa Monica born/raised (very rare these days... LOL) I was really happy with the whole experience. Martin even gave me a ride home when I dropped my truck off. I took my truck to the dealer for years, but now I'm gonna take it to these guys instead. If you have a Toyota (or any other Japanese car for that matter) I would suggest this shop for good work at a good price.

This place is a true God-send. Highly competent, completely honest, friendly mechanics! AND the business is set up intelligently, with people available to explain what's going on and answer questions. I could hardly believe my good luck being led to them after my 8-year-old Prius wouldn't start, and my usual mechanic said that when THAT light goes on, you have to go to the dealer. Oh, dear. But when the AAA driver showed up, a genius named Fred, he got it started after working on it for a half hour, and told me about Car Nerds. They diagnosed it immediately; all it needed was the 12-volt battery. It cost me less than the Culver City Toyota dealer was going to charge just for diagnosing. And it took them 15 minutes all told, vs. the hours you wait at Toyota dealerships. Blessings on you, Car Nerds!!!!!

This place is the best to get your car fixed!! They are honest and personable and very, very knowledgeable. I would give them 10 stars if I could!! Highly, highly recommended!
