Car Nerds is awesome! I have now taken my car there 3 different times and I have been more than satisfied with the service. The owner, Rony, is very friendly and a straight-shooter who will give you a fair evaluation of your car and what it needs. Last Friday I called in the late morning stating that I was having an issue with my brakes. Rony told me to bring it in any time that day and they would be able to accommodate me. I dropped it off around 12:30pm, and my car was evaluated and received a full major service/oil change and new front brakes and rotors by 5pm. And all for probably half the amount I would have paid at a Toyota dealership. I will be telling all my friends to get their car serviced at Car Nerds. And as someone who knows nothing about cars and has felt like other auto repair shops were taking advantage of her lack of knowledge, I completely trust the service and expertise that is given at Car Nerds.

If I could explain Car Nerds in one word - Honest!Rony the owner is honest and straight forward. His team is friendly and approachable unlike a lot of other shops. I had a issue with my dual climate control AC on my Tahoe and 4 repair shops had no clue. Rony and his team knew what was wrong and fixed it, and at a very decent price too.I drop my car off not worrying about being ripped off.

If you are looking for a place that you can trust and not have somebody trying to get you to repair what is not broken, this place is for YOU! Rony is the owner and is very honest and trustworthy. He offer the best service for the best price out there!

Ronnie was very knowledgeable about Toyota Prius's and he had my car checked out and confirmed everything was in proper working order. He was professional and courteous and I told him I will be back to get an oil change. I really liked the honest vibe of Ronnie's and his colleagues.

Mr. Castillo has always been a man with high integrity. He is honest and will never recommend services you don't need and his rates are fair. If I had a sister, I would feel comfortable sending her to his shop knowing she would be in good hands. If you do not believe my review, take your car to a Toyota dealership for an evaluation and then take your to Mr. Castillo. I guarantee Mr. Castillo will tell you the truth and you will save money.

This place is a HIDDEN GEM! Lucky you, Locals of SantaMonica07 camry was making weird knocking sounds coming from under the hood, took it to the dealer and they told me i had a bad alternator and 1100 for parts and labor. Got recommended to these guys and walked out only paying $110. Turned out the dealer was half right, the problem was only the gear on the alternator not the alternator itself. These guys could of easily made another couple of hundred bucks of off me but they choose to do the right thing. Hard to find folks like that in this world. Been 6 months since the repair and not a hint of that annoying knocking sound.Thanks CarNerds!My car problems have found a new home.

I've owned hybrids for years now but was always frustrated that I couldn't take my car to just any shop. I was stoked to learn that Car Nerds specializes in Hybrids! I am totally impressed by these guys. Ronnie is probably the friendliest and most honest car expert around. I trust him to do a great job and be straightforward about what work actually needs to be done and how much it will cost. His team is quick, efficient and expert.
